What is Long River Press?
Long River Press was established in 2002 as a joint venture between Sino United Publishing (Holdings) Limited in Hong Kong, and the China International Publishing Group in Beijing. Our editorial and marketing offices are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, while our design and production facilities are located in China. Our ISBN prefix is 1-59265. As of 2008, we have approximately 34 titles in print.

What is your editorial focus?
The main mission of Long River Press is to publish books that promote a deeper understanding and appreciation of Chinese history, society, and culture. Our books appeal to a general interest and an academic audience, as well as anyone with an interest in Chinese history, art, culture, and society. The ultimate goal of Long River Press is to maintain an open, friendly dialogue to further strengthen East-West cross-cultural ties. Our work ethic is to maintain the highest possible editorial and production standards for book publishing.
